Couples Counseling
Whether you are wanting to resolve a budding issue early or worry that you may be heading toward separation or divorce, we can help. We will work diligently to help you deepen your connection with your partner and improve communication patterns through well researched intervention so that you can resolve current problems while improving the outcomes of future conflicts as well. We are Level Three trained in Gottman Method and a certified trainer in Seven Principles of Making Marriage work, ensuring you are receiving well-researched and effective intervention.
Co-Parenting
Parenting is the most important jobs we will ever have. Most individuals hold deeply rooted values when it comes to the way they parent their children, and at times, that may not align with your partners. We commonly see patters of polarization, one permissive parent and one punitive; children’s behavioral problems which can deepen the marital conflict; and misalignment between a child and one parent. Through the art of creative compromise and values-based exercises, we will work to align you and your partner as well as your parenting practices.
Substance Abuse
If one or both partners is struggling with substance abuse, this can deeply impact your relationship dynamic. Couple’s counseling has shown to produce similar outcomes as traditional substance use treatment programs. Those rates increase when the partner struggling with substance abuse is actively or has previously engaged in treatment.
Relational Conflict
Every couple experiences ups and downs, and some conflicts are significantly more difficult to overcome. You may feel as though you and your partner have the same fight over and over again without resolution. Many couples will struggle with their conflict for over six years before they seek help! Lets work together to develop ways to manage these perpetual problems that have troubled your relationship for so long.
Pre-Marital
You’re engaged! You are taking the right steps to secure your future for a healthy, productive marriage. Pre-marital counseling is a great way to pour a stable foundation so that you can continue to build upon it throughout your lifetime together. Pre-marital counseling length of service is typically eight sessions and utilizes the Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work curriculum.
Hourly rate: $265 for the first hour session, $210 per hour after that
Although incredibly important, often times couples counseling is not covered by health insurance and is an out-of-pocket expense. You are encouraged to contact your health insurance company directly to verify your benefits. Payment is due at the time of service and length of treatment is determined by you and your counselor. We diligently follow the No Surprises Act when it comes to these expenses and a Good Faith Estimate of what your service cost projections will be provided to you upon scheduling.
